Used Nikon AF Nikkor 24-85mm 1:2.8-4D zoom lens

IF Aspherical Macro(1:2) 72mm front thread

This is an excellent lens that I have used for several years and am selling because I needed a faster lens in this focal length range. I have used it on Nikon 4040, 6060, D70 and D700 all without any problem.

Condition

I would rate its condition as at least an EX on KEH.com's scale. The glass is very clean. I have never detected a flaw in my photos due to the lens.
The manual and auto-focus function as designed, which is to say fast and accurate.
The zoom feels more stiff than my new lens.
The exterior has no scratches, brassing, dents that I can detect
The mounting surface shows evidence of normal use.
The rubber zoom band slips slightly
The included step up ring has wear along the front edge from screwing on and off a metal front lens cap, but this has also left the threads on the lens itself in near perfect condition
