This slide of my father holding me was exposed in September 1943, probably by my mother. I scanned it in 2005, made some adjustments to correct for fading and printed it. I then made this into a birthday card for my father - a great hit with the family. This 62 year old slide was in very good condition, but you likely have similar ones in a closet somewhere.
