My passion for nature andwildlife has opened the door to many creative endeavors. For many years my focus was on photography.
I studied and attended workshops to hone my photographic skills. My passion has taken me all over the country, including Alaska
and Africa to photograph my favorite subjects. For several years I marketed my photographs through art shows and magazines
and was published in Texas Parks and Wildlife Magazine.
Recently my focus has been on art. I prefer the creative opportunities that are inherent in this form of expression.
I use the thousands if slides in my files as reference material for my art work- In an effort to refine my
artistic talents I've sought out and had personal instruction from the greatest names in wildlife art today.
Their experience and guidance has helped me achieve amazing levels in artistic expression.
My medium of choice so far is pence. I find the adventure of creating a realistic image in black and
white to be challenging and rewarding. I've recently added color to my work and have discovered that
drawing on wood is a fun and pleasing medium to work with.
I sell my work at juried shows, galleries and through my web site.
