Shaping in paper developed from my earlier free-form pottery work and in the color finish I often try to recreate the effects of Raku glazing. In many cases found objects or fabrics are included in the pieces. However, I do not define them as pure collages, but rather as sculptures. Themes and shapes are generally derived from nature, the seasons and my daily experiences.
